Redwood’s ASB shares their plans for this year’s Club Day and what it means to the Redwood Tradition.
During lunch on Wednesday August 24th 2022, Redwood’s Associated Student Body [ASB] will be collaborating with clubs to show the many communities that Rangers can be a part of.
Mrs. Hailey Aston, the ASB advisor and Redwood Activities Director, is looking forward to sharing the traditions and opportunities Club Day has to offer.
Aston says, “Club day is a chance for all of our clubs on campus to come together and share what they are about. It is also a great opportunity for students to get involved with clubs and get connect to the campus.”
She adds, “Each club will get a booth where they are able to share out their club mission and increase membership.”
ASB President Savannah Torres, ’23 anticipates that Club Day will be worthwhile to visit and a success, “You should go to Club Day because it is a great way to know about the campus life we have here at Redwood and to find which clubs here suit you the best.”
Audrey Orosco, ’23 leads the role as this year’s ASB Inter-club Commissioner. She hopes that the planning invested towards Club Day will help students, especially Freshmen, learn about the large number of student groups at Redwood.
Club Day allows students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Redwood campus and students who share similar interests. She adds, “Club Day is a great way for students to see how many clubs we have and maybe find their interests.”
During lunch on Wednesday, visit the Quad to explore the various clubs and involvement opportunities held by fellow classmates and students at Redwood.
