Hirani says, “We’re just starting off our partnerships with different organizations. So every year from now, we’re just going to keep growing. But overall, our main goal is to provide aid to the community in as many ways as we can.”
Hirani encourages any students to join the Red Cross community.
Leilani J. Hernandez, ‘26, a member of Red Cross says, “Red Cross is a club about trying to do better for the community.”
Hernandez adds, “In a few weeks we’re meeting up with our international humanitarian law leads to come up with a campaign to raise awareness about potential wartime conflicts, so that’s a benefit too.”
Janna Asunto, ’27, is the Vice President of the club, and she shares what exactly the Red Cross club does.
Asunto says, “We do a lot of training for volunteering and spreading awareness about things such as international humanitarian law, blood drives, and also just helping out and giving back to our community.”
The members share their views on the club itself.
Hernandez says, “It’s really fun to, getting to work alongside a team who share the same values that you do, and, Like I said, raising awareness is kind of a huge thing. So there’s a great president and vice president. All the officers are really welcoming in the club.”
Hirani says, “Join Red Cross.”
