Rangers share what they did for the duration of Thanksgiving break.

Redwood Rangers were given the week of Thanksgiving for a break before ending the semester strong.Rangers share where they went, what they did with friends and family traditions.

Sienna Luna ‘26 says, “Over Thanksgiving break, I visited my family in Fresno. One tradition is that we get a turkey from out of town.” 

Some Rangers traveled overseas, when they were able to see all the wonderful things sites have to offer. Alejandra Gutierrez ‘24 spent her break in Bora Bora with her family. 

Gutierrez says, “We went on a tour of the Island on jet skis, it was really enjoyable, the water was really nice and really beautiful, and the weather was also perfect over there,” says 

Aaralyn See ‘25 went to LA for six days and visited The Grove, The Getty Center, Santa Monica Pier, and many more.

“One thing that I did that was really special was go to the beach and watch the sunset with my Uncle and Cousins. Just, seeing something beautiful with people you love is just really special,” says See. 

Rangers share what family traditions they have. Some go out of town, have delicious food, and most importantly, spend time with family.

Gutierrez says, “Normally for Thanksgiving my family gets together and makes Mexican food, tamales and other foods!”
