Rangers have fun at the annual Friday Picnic during Love Week
Redwood held the Love week picnic on Friday the 17th in the quad to continue another annual tradition. Rangers got to eat, hang out with their friends, and have lots of fun!
Kaitlyn White ‘23 says, “My favorite part about Love Week was the picnic in the quad on Friday because I got to go eat with all my friends, we do anyway but, it was like a new scenery and I really enjoyed that.”
Not only was it just a picnic, fun games were provided as well. Students got to have fun at the bean bag toss, and enjoy delicious cookies ASB handed out.
Nathan Perez ‘23 says, “My favorite part was seeing all of the campus decked out, all the hearts on the walls, and the Love sign in Ranger Hall, I just love all the decorations this time off week, it’s actually my favorite spirit week!”
Brooke Morales ‘26 says, “My favorite part about Love Week last week was just getting to see everybody dress up.”
ASB students worked diligently to be certain that their hard work that went into preparation would have a successful turnout. Making sure all the necessities were being accounted for. Especially, the decorations and the blankets.
Morales ‘26 also says, “I didn’t set up the Picnic on Friday but it was fun passing out cookies, and seeing people wanting to join the picnic was really fun.”
Although everyone was able to enjoy the picnic, members of ASB also had to work. Their view and enjoyment of the picnic came from the working perspective.
“ Due to my ASB duties I didn’t get to participate in the picnic but, I made sure that everyone was satisfied by providing towels so everyone can enjoy the picnic,” says Perez ‘23.
