VISALIA, CA- Redwood High School is gearing up for its first-ever Ranger Summit, a community-focused event designed to foster connections and provide resources for academic success, mental health, and parental involvement. The event will take place on November 16th in the RHS Cafeteria from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Ana Ramirez, Assistant Principal for the 10th Grade Academy and one of the event’s key speakers, emphasized the inclusive nature of the summit.
“The Ranger Summit is an event that was created to be an amazing opportunity for all of our students—not only our current Rangers but also our future Rangers,” Ramirez said.
With the goal of building connections between students, parents, staff, and the wider community, the summit will feature child care services, a light breakfast and lunch, information booths, and community resources. Attendees can also participate in raffles for added fun.
“This is for everybody,” Ramirez added. “All of our Rangers.”
The summit is more than just an event; it is a chance for families and students of all backgrounds to establish intentional connections and access resources to support their success.
Ramirez highlighted the four pillars of the summit: academic success, parental involvement, mental health, and community resources. These focus areas aim to ensure that every attendee feels supported and empowered, regardless of academic standing or societal background.
Whether you’re a current Ranger or considering becoming one, the Ranger Summit invites you to join a day of learning, connection, and community.
