For this week’s Ranger Doodle, Emilio says:
“Well, to celebrate black history month, I decided to draw Jackie Robinson. He played for the Dodgers.”
When asked, why he drew it, Emilio says, “Well, when I watched the movie 42, Jackie Robinson, who was played by Chadwick Boseman, he really inspired me and because of him, I wanted to draw this Ranger doodle based off of.”
“I’m 100% proud of it because every person of color deserves to have a beautiful opportunity and have an amazing life. And hopefully there’ll be more to come,” says Emilio.
