As the class of 2022 concludes their time at Redwood High School, Principal Matt Shin gives them one last message.

Seniors,

I write this letter to you as the proud principal of Redwood High School and as a proud father of
a soon to be Redwood alumnus.  Some of you I have known for many years and others I have
coached in sports outside of school when you were younger.  Some of you are friends with my
own children.  It is because of these things that I can honestly say that YOUR class is very
special to me.

As you prepare to move into life beyond Redwood High School, REMEMBER this… change
will be inevitable!  It is inevitable that structures and processes and relationships will change in
your day-to-day lives. It is inevitable that you will face new challenges and it is inevitable that
things may seem a little different in the years ahead. Yes, life after Redwood is definitely going
to become a little more hectic for you.

So Ladies and Gentlemen, as you face and tackle the inevitable changes ahead of you, remember
your character, your work ethic, and most importantly, your core values. It is these qualities that
will guide you further on your journey through life. Lastly, remember Principal Shin’s Six:
GET INVOLVED, WORK HARD, BE NICE.”

Congratulations & Best Wishes,

Mr. Shin
