Redwood’s Varsity volleyball team wins their September 5th game against Kingsburg.

Andee May, ’26, stays thinking about the game. When she makes a mistake she says, “I can always correct it later and my teammates will not be mad at me for it.”
May stays loud by, “cheering and helping each other.” May also says, “If someone is not feeling their best, I will try and help them to cheer up.”
After a game, May says “It is always super fun because we feed off each other’s energies and boost each other after winning a game.”
Alexis Rico, ’25, stays motivated during her game “all the time I’m singing to my teammates and they will also sing back to me.”
Rico says that after a winning game she, “goes to my family and friends and talks about how we performed during the game.”
Rico says that after a game she “feels pretty good. I also get an adrenaline rush because it is so exciting to win a game we worked hard on.”
Rico loves to play volleyball for Redwood because “the environment is very welcoming and it is really fun to play with other people.”
