Redwood High School (RHS) celebrated its annual Log Rally event on May 19, 2023, a gathering traditionally held to acknowledge the achievements of its students and staff. This year, the event marked a significant milestone as it was the first assembly held in the school’s newly remodeled gymnasium.
The assembly commenced with the unveiling of the 2023 yearbook, encapsulating the experiences, achievements, and spirit of RHS students over the past academic year. The yearbook represents the culmination of hard work by the yearbook committee, reflecting the creativity and diversity of our student body.
Awards were presented during the event, including the coveted Athlete of the Year honors. These awards recognize student-athletes who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and sportsmanship in their respective sports.
The ceremony also included the Principal’s awards and Staff dedications. The former recognizes students for their academic excellence and contributions to the RHS community, while the latter acknowledges the unwavering dedication of the school’s staff.
The newly remodeled gym, which provided the backdrop for this year’s Log Rally, has been enhanced to further support the physical education needs of our students and accommodate a variety of sporting events.
