The Redwood High School Varsity Softball team hosted league games against Porterville High School and Monache High School. On Tuesday, April 30th Redwood defeated the Porterville Panthers by a score of 8-0. The Monache Marauders proved to be a tougher opponent. The Rangers celebrated Senior Night on Thursday, May 2nd with a dramatic 4-3 victory over Monache in a back-and-forth game that took 9 innings to decide, finishing when Bella Valdez drove in Gaby Vasquez from 2nd base for a walk off win.
