New laws in California that are happening in 2026, states that there will be a phone ban in K-12 schools.

Just recently, Gavin Newsom signed a law stating that K-12 schools will have to enforce a phone ban in all schools in California.

This will be enforced July 2026, but won’t actually start until the new school year in August 2026.
