It was announced on Friday March 25, that Nahir Karimi ‘22 and Kiley Langford ‘22 were given the title of Mr. and Mrs. Ranger.
Hailey Aston, ASB Director says winning “means something different for every person,” but for her it is someone who meets all the qualities of being a “T.R.U.E Ranger”
This year, winners are decided through a judging system. They are getting judged during the lunch time activities and performances during the rally.
Langford says it feels amazing to be the “first ever Mrs. Ranger.”
She adds that she wants to thank everyone who encouraged her to “perform a rap to a Dr. Seuss book”
Langford feels that her “rap and costume” gave her most of her points and really “boosted her score.”
Overall her experience was “amazing” and is “very thankful” for her ASB class to allow her to represent them.
As the initial announcement came out with Nahir Karimi, winning the title of Mr. Ranger, he says, “it feels great to win, I loved having this opportunity, and love being Mr. Ranger.”
Karimi has many supportive people on his side with his nomination for Mr. Ranger as he says, “I’d like to thank my parents for being supportive, my close friends, and the nominees…”
All of the Mr. and Mrs. Ranger nominees were highly supportive of each other through the whole process, Karimi says he’d like to thank all of the nominees, “…for all of us being there and motivating each other.”
The overall experience of Mr. and Mrs. Ranger week tended to go really well for many, Karimi says, “It was a little stressful because of the talent show and dancing, but it was really fun and really exciting!”
An ongoing tradition of 15 years of signing the head continued when Karimi and Langford signed it at the 2022 Mr. and Mrs. Ranger week rally.
