Video class has been a very important part of Redwood culture for many years; the class is led by Mr Henshaw.

The class covers different types of video shots and cool ways to create awesome videos about the campus of Redwood.

Video class also covers sports, rallies, different classes on campus, etc. It’s a fun way to capture all the cool moments.

First, you start off with Intro to Video class, then you slowly work your way up to Ranger TV, which releases weekly videos.

Interested in Henshaw’s Intro to Video class and don’t know what it’s about? Here’s the point of view of actual students in this class.

Mckyla Hannan, ’29, said that her first year is ” very good. It’s a lot of new experiences and ideas that we fulfill in the class, and Henshaw does a great job at teaching us. It’s new creativity”.

Hannan continued his statement by saying, ” I’m looking forward to accomplishing the video class and being able to be on Ranger TV in the future”.

Austin Azparren, ’29, said that being new to video class is, ” nice. I like the teacher and everyone in the class, and it’s a good way to enjoy school”.

Azparren also said his goals for this year’s video class are, ” passing with an A and having a good time in the class with my friends”.

Michael Garza, ’29, said that joining video class, “It was a good choice; I got to see and start something new that I haven’t tried before and maybe use it in my future”.

Garza kept going with, “I like seeing Ranger TV shows and the different moments we could record that make it good. I hopefully see myself in Ranger TV in the future and contributing to the amazing show”.

Michael also set some goals for this year “Some goals I want to overcome this year are not being afraid and trying new things, and also meeting new people”.

Intro to Video has been a great opportunity for the students of Redwood to develop new creativity, social interaction with different kinds of people, and come out of their comfort zone.
