IGOR is the fifth album, the fan favorite, Tyler the Creator has released. Many fans do not really consider it a “rap” album, but rather a collection of really good lyrical songs with great instrumentals. It really is not his typical album, and he has taken it more seriously than others in the past, which is kind of strange because if you’re a fan you know how random and funny he can be. This album was released on May 17th, 2019.

- NEW MAGIC WAND

- I DON’T LOVE YOU ANYMORE
- ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?
Some of the most popular songs are NEW MAGIC WAND, and EARFQUAKE. What some people might not know is there are some un-credited vocals from Playboy-Carti, and Lil Uzi Vert.
Altogether this album is great, but if you are looking for bangers it might not be for you. Gavin Lange, ’21, says his favorite songs would be EARFQUAKE or BOY IS A GUN, he would rate it “8.5 or 9”. In a poll taken on Instagram, 70% of 400 people liked or loved the album.
But when it comes down to it, it’s preference, go listen for yourself.
