During the holiday season, there are many traditions that are done in the family. Many people celebrate many different things. There are some traditions that people really enjoy while other traditions, not so much. Personally, I enjoy playing the white elephant game the night of Christmas Eve. One thing I do not enjoy so much is having all the suspense of the presents build up. After speaking with some people, everyone’s answers were a little bit different.

Karisa Guajardo ’23 –  Guajardo says that “spending time with my family is probably my least favorite thing because they are all crazy.” One of her favorite things to do is open all her gifts the night of Christmas Eve.

Joaquin Gonzalez ’23 –   Gonzalez says, “The end of Christmas would have to be my least favorite.”  The end of Christmas is something no one looks forward to. But, spending time with family and eating food brings joy to her.

Sierra Nelson ’23 “Cleaning because I’m home all day and my mom says do the dishes, clean the bathroom, and your bedroom, then I get in trouble because I don’t do any of it.” Although, the presents that she gets make up for it.

Leena Aziz ’23 – With spending time with family is one of Aziz’s favorite traditions. Something she does not look forward to as much is “how public places are very crowded” during this time of year. She also enjoys traveling with her family.

Morgan Bradford ’23 –  Some things that Bradford does not enjoy so much is “having to see all my annoying little cousins…those dummies.”  Something that Bradford does look forward to is watching Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in the morning on Christmas Day.
