The Rangers took home the win in their match against Monache on Monday, October 2nd, with a final score of 21-7.

Mia Larsen, ’26, plays any position on the wings. Larsen says she’s most proud of, “the goal I scored.” She says it, “always feels good to score a point for your team.” She says their biggest success as a team so far has been their ability to, “work together and be united.”
She says they’re also very good at, “talking in the pool.” She said the most challenging part of the game for her personally was making sure she was, “always where I needed to be when I needed to be there.”
Emelia Rasner, ’25, is a utility player for the team, meaning she can play any position in the pool. This is Rasner’s third year on the team. She says she’s proud of, “the way I played overall.”
Rasner says as a team they do really well at, “going into the game strong and shutting down their offensive plays.” Going into the rest of the league, she says she, “wants to become more of a leader since I’m now an upperclassman.”
Roamie Gailey, ’24 plays two-meter guard. This is Gailey’s fourth year on the team however, this is her first year playing this position. Gailey says during the first quarter of the game she was, “off her guard and made mistakes.” Gailey however came back strong in the third quarter. Her favorite part of the third quarter was how strong she played defensively. She said she was able to, “better support her team.”
Gailey says that as a team they did really well playing, “pressed out defense,” and that, “ended a lot of Monache’s offensive plays.” She says that as a team they are, “growing and learning a lot,” and she is, “proud of everyone’s hard work and improvement.”
