The 69th annual cowhide is right around the corner. Below is general information on Cowhide week including dates and times. You will also find information on the opportunities on how to participate and get involved.

TICKETS:

$5.00 – students

$8.00 – adults

DRESS UP DAYS:

Monday- “Can’t hide our Ranger Pride” (camo day)

Tuesday-“Twinning Tuesday” (twin day)

Wednesday-“Going old school” (90’s day)

Thursday- “Scare the competition away” (wear your halloween costume)

Friday- “Bring the hide home” (Blue out/Cow print)

LUNCHTIME ACTIVITIES:

Mon: Pumpkin painting vs MW – Who can paint the best school spirit pumpkins?

Tues: Minefield – Dodge the mines and make it to the end the fastest

Wed: Cowhide relay race – Race thru the obstacles to win

Thurs: Donut eating competition – Watch the captains take on the donut competition

Fri: Carnival Games!

TAYLOR’S HOT DOGS:

Date: Tuesday 10/29

Time: 6:30pm

Location: Taylor’s Hot Dogs

Open to the public – Dunk tank competition vs MW

COWHIDE CARNIVAL:

Date: Friday 11/1

Time: Extended lunch 1:10-2:00

Games: Clubs will host games, where you get prizes! Prizes include: candy, snacks, pom poms, beads, face tattoos, etc.

Vendors: Taquizas Gonzalez, Snackology, Our Little Pizza Place, Rush Bowls, Teaspoon, Don Gummie & more! Bring cash!!!

DOOR DECORATING COMPETITION:

Starts: 2nd period Monday 10/28 (Don’t have a 2nd period class? Participate with your 3rd period)

Ends: 2nd period Thursday 10/31

Judging: Lunch on Thursday 10/31

Winner announcement: Rally Friday 11/1

Location: RHS gym

Rally 1: 11:00am-12:00pm

Rally 2: 12:10pm – 1:10pm

Road to Cowhide: The Ultimate Showdown

It’s Redwood vs. the school down the street -who’s taking home the win? Here’s how YOU can help your school earn points all week long:

1. Dress-Up Days: Show your spirit! Teachers will count participation during 2nd period.
The school with the most participants each day earns 10 points!

Taylor’s Hot Dogs Dunk Tank: Cheer on your team as they try to dunk the opposing school’s principal! School with the most dunks gets 25 points!

Car Decorating Competition: Help deck out your school’s car at the Taylor’s Hot Dog event! The best decorated car wins 10 points!

Mascot Face-Off: Watch, comment, and support your school’s mascot on social media.

The mascot with the most comments wins 15 points!
