Coach Hylton talks about how the team has been working really hard offensively.
He said, “The team chemistry is really good right now. Just trying to learn new inbounds plays, a lot of different offensive set types.”
When asked about challenges the girls might face, Hylton said “Some challenges are that we are not very tall, you know, we’re kind of small.”
“So when we play against a big team, that’s going to be tough for us, they’re going to have to really box out and get after it,” said Coach Hylton.
Redwoods 2025-26 team has also seen some new talent.
Coach Hylton said, “Veronica Flores, Carly, and Denise, coming up from the JV team, will help out quite a bit.”
The team seems to have strong returning players as well.
“Jasmine Stewart, Ariel Madden, and Jada Barnes. Those three, you should be able to see a lot of good things out of them this year,” said coach Hylton.
