Redwood High School benefitted from a bond measure that paid for the modernization of the campus in 1969/1970.
Every building with an arch was part of that modernization, this includes the gymnasium and the library. Also, the shop buildings and the cafeteria buildings were added.
The new Annie Mitchell library displaced the original senior court that was next to the LJ Williams theater (formerly called the Montgomery Auditorium).
In 1971, the senior class paid for and built the current senior court. Here is the story.
