Redwood Rangers Conquer Slick Rock Film Festival with Record-Breaking Wins
In an extraordinary display of talent and creativity, Redwood High School’s film students made an indelible mark at the Slick Rock Film Festival this year. The thirteen Redwood Ranger Video Teams dominated the competition, securing a record-breaking seven awards, including the coveted Best of Show.

Diego Chirinos Takes It All Home
The All High School Art contest was held at the Creative Center in Downtown Visalia and it is held once a year. It is a competition and this year they had 300 people enter. Four judges went through and narrowed it down to 125 people that they allowed in the exhibit. Out of the 125 students, Diego Chirinos ‘24 had won best in show in all of the categories.

The Best in The West: Bass Trombonist Jaden Bullock Takes Talent to the Lone Star State
The Redwood Music Department has many talented students. Jaden Bullock ’23, might just be the most accomplished. Having made history by being a two time all-state bass trombonist, This year he became the principal (1st chair) bass trombone in the highest honor band in the state, The California All State Wind Symphony. This fall he will be attending The University of North Texas (UNT) to major in Classical Trombone Performance.
