Redwood High School junior and senior students will begin CAASPP testing this week.
VISALIA, CA—Starting Tuesday, March 6, Redwood High School’s junior and senior students will take the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress [CAASPP] exam.
The CAASPP System was established in 2014. The purpose of the CAASPP exam is to assist teachers, administrators, students, and parents by promoting high-quality teaching and learning through various assessments.
Juniors will take the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment [SBAC] for English and Mathematics.
English testing will take place the week of March 6, and mathematics from April 17 to 23.
Both juniors and seniors will take the California Science Test [CAST].
All students will follow a block schedule to allow students testing adequate time to take their exams:
Students taking the CAASPP will have the week to complete their exams.
