Women’s concert had its first concert on October 12th at 7 P.M. The fall concert included Men’s choir, Beginning women’s, Intermediate women’s, Advanced women’s, Chamber choir, and Ranger choir. 

Melissa Soto ‘23 says “My mom said that it was good, that for the first time in a high school in California for me and dad I did a good job.”

When asked about the concert was as an audience member, Soto said “It was amazing, I thought they did a great job and all the practice that they did.”

Morgan Gilmore ‘24 says “I really liked it, I really liked hearing other people singing and seeing what they were doing.”

When asked how Mr. Carrillo conducted at the concert, Gilmore said “But overall he did a very good job, I really liked how he explained all of the songs before we performed them.”

Grace Stall ‘25 says “I think we did pretty good for not doing a concert in over a year and a half.”

Stall had also said, “My parents and grandparents felt very proud, they told me they could barely recognize me because of the masks.”

Rebekah Cantelmi ‘25 says “It was really fun to listen and see how we can improve as we go forward.”

When asked how the choir teacher conducted, Cantelmi had said “He did a good job one song, it was funny because we messed up but other than that he did a good job.”

Isabella Clausen ‘25 says “Me and them [parents] thought it was a bit weird, like all the performers had to wear masks. But then at the end there was a lot of audience members not wearing masks.” 

Clausen also added, “But we were all singing out so I thought that was weird. But it was good, they liked it.”
