Alina Cervantes, ‘26, the president of Bake Club, says, “We help non-profits. Me and my friends, we bake, the other officers, we bake for the meetings and it’s really fun because we get to do stuff for the club and everyone really enjoys the cookies and stuff we make.”
Elizabeth Belflower, ‘26, the vice president of Bake Club, says, “it’s really fun. We bake a variety of different things. Our last meeting we did cookies and our first meeting we did cupcakes. It’s pretty fun.”

Bake Club also does alot of community service projects.
Cervantes says, “We actually have an event coming up on April 5th. We’re going to be baking stuff for Salt and Light, distributing stuff to them, and also making an Easter egg hunt for the kids that live in that community.”
Camila Chavez, ’26, a Bake Club member, says, “we hold a lot of events. They’re community service events where we bake a lot of goods. We partner up with Salt and Light a lot. Salt and Light is an organization that helps unhoused people get housing, and they do a lot of events to kind of help unhoused people. We’ve been partnering up with them.”

Chavez also says, “I really think people should come and join Bake Club because we make sure to keep all the meetings really fun. We bring treats in every meeting. We help people learn how to get more involved in the community and learn how even just something simple like baking can help really impact people and make their days. People should join Bake Club to do community service and bring smiles to people’s faces.”
Belflower says, “I think that our cause is really, I think that what we do is really cool. And that you guys should join Bake Club because baking is fun and it’s a chance to give back to your community.”
