Sports Med is a thorough class taught by Mrs. Wall, who describes it as “an introduction to human anatomy with a focus on rehabilitation during sports injuries.”

Redwood students who want to head towards becoming a doctor, or a school nurse should take this class because, “it gives them a good foundation.”

Students in that class also enjoy the learning experience. Sophie Degn, ’21, says that, “it helps prepare us for our future.” She says that she enjoys learning how to tape and wrap limbs when needed.

Sydnee Weber, ’21, also loves the class. She explains how much fun she has and that she has learned a lot in the few weeks she has been there. “Everyone is very close,” she mentions on her experience in the class.

Sports Med is a class that is for students who are interested in a career in physical therapy or some other sports medicine. This class, similar to others, is one that will motivate students to consider their future careers.
