The art club is a club where students do art, hang out, and just get to have a good time.

It is a new year at Redwood High School, which also means it’s a new year for the Redwood Art Club, and they have a lot of new plans.

The art club is a place where students meet new people and make art together, and it’s a great experience.

This year, a brand-new president, Madison Moya Zeta Velasquez, ’28, wants to try something new and make it different from last year.

Velasquez said, “…they weren’t really active last year, so I’m trying to get more events so that everyone has fun”.

Last year, the leaders of the art club graduated, which means that Madison is a new member and president who has a lot of new ideas on how the art club could improve.

She also says, “All the past presidents and vice presidents graduated, so I’m trying to make it new this year”.

She is very happy because after the first club meeting, many people joined, which gives the art club a lot of good opportunities to do events this year.

Velasquez says, “For the first club meeting, a lot of people joined, so I’m excited for that because it gives us a lot of new opportunities to try new things”.

There were many new students that joined the club, and she can’t wait for the opportunities that this gives the art club.

Zeta Velasquez, the vice president of the art club, also has some plans this year she shares that she is doing some new murals and finishing one in the new Costco break room.

She is also excited to work on new murals and finish some past ones, Z. Velasquez says, “I am excited to start some new murals this year and finish the one in the new Costco”.

Zeta says they want to do more activities and work together to build a stronger connection with each other, “This year we plan to do more with the art club, more activities, and build a stronger connection with each other”.

Zeta talks about how they hope to build a stronger connection between the art club and the community by connecting the art club with community service.

So if you enjoy doing art and hanging out with friends or are just looking for a good time, then art club is the place for you.
