Isaac Tootle, ‘30, said that he feels the keys to success are “cooperating with our team, making a team effort, and not playing selfish water polo.”

Tootle was also asked how he will prepare for the tournament. He said that in his one practice, he has to go before the game; he will put in a lot of work and effort.

Crew Anderson, ‘30, feels that the keys to success, in his opinion, are that they should not be intimidated by their size, even though it is a varsity-level tournament, and they should not give up.

Anderson was also asked how he feels about competing against varsity-level teams. Anderson feels that they have good competition with varsity-level teams, and he feels that they will do well.

Anderson said that what motivates him is going against varsity teams. He says that even if they lose, it is really good practice, but if they win, it’s really cool to win against a varsity team.

Jaxton Lewis, ‘29, feels that the key to success is “preparation.” When asked why, Lewis said, “Without preparation, you cannot do your best in your matches.”

Lewis was asked what motivates him in a varsity-level tournament. Lewis said their size and that if they win, it will help motivate them for future matches against other teams.

Greyson Galley, ‘29, was asked what he felt the key to success for his upcoming match was. Galley says, “I feel like we gotta play physical and communicate to one another and push ourselves past our limits.”

Galley was asked how he feels competing in a varsity-level tournament. Galley said that in this tournament, it will open up lots of opportunities, and going up against better teams means better opportunities.

Galley also said; “I’ll push myself at practice and lock myself in before my match.”

Galley was asked what he feels motivates him going into a varsity-level tournament. Galley said that because they are a JV team, if they win against a varsity team, then there is no reason to lose against any JV teams in the future.
