With all the hype around the new hit movie Spider-Man, Redwood students share their thoughts.

For many movie enthusiasts, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a huge deal. Many people then come to ask: Is Spider-Man: Brand New Day even worth watching?

As Spider-Man: Brand New Day rises in popularity, Redwood students who have watched the movie share their opinions about it and answer the question: Is Spider-Man: Brand New Day even worth watching?

Gabriel Reveles Flores, ‘30, says, ” I enjoyed the new Spider-Man movie; it was an interesting and sad movie towards the end, but I would 100 percent recommend people to watch it. It is one of the better Spider-Man movies that was made”.

Jessie Espindola, ‘30, says, The new Spider-Man movie was great; it is definitely one of the better Spider-Man movies ever made. The only thing I did not like was how the movie ended on a cliffhanger.”

Espindola praised the new Spider-Man movie as one of the franchise’s best, but disliked its cliffhanger ending.

Aldo Meraz, ‘30, says, “I thought the Spider-Man movie was okay. I think there are other better Spider-Men out there, like Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man: Brand New Day was good, but I think they could have changed some things to make it better”.

Meraz thought the recent Spider-Man movie was just okay, nothing like the better classic versions such as Spider-Man 2. While he enjoyed Spider-Man: Brand New Day, he felt it could have been improved with a few changes.
