Gwyn Miller, ’25, four-year dancing champion.

Miller has been a part of Dance Force for all four years of being at Redwood, and has been dancing almost her whole life.

I asked Miller how long she had been dancing and how dancing changed her life, and she said that she has been dancing since three years old and she loved it very much. She made very close friends and made amazing memories, and which makes her a better leader of dancing. And it made her become an outgoing person.

I then asked her about her journey of dancing, not just in Redwood High School, but dancing in general, and then asked her if she had a great time. She said that she has so much fun dancing and that she loves it. She was in the International Dance class, Dance Force, and Advanced Dance.

She loves being able to see all of the dances being like and put them all together, and the effort that everyone puts into it all. And the last question is, will she continue to dance in the future? She said that she will because she’s going to Fresno State for the Dance team, and that’s where she wanted to go.

For this week’s doodle, Emilio said:

“Since the dance show has happened, I thought maybe it’ll be a great idea to draw one of the four-year dance members. And that one was Gwyn Miller.”

We asked, “How was it like drawing Gwyn?”

Emilio said, “It was great. I was looking for details, like the way of her hair and her dress, and all of the details.”

“It’s really cool. Not only could I draw Gwyn as a ballet dancer, but I could also interview Gwyn Miller for dancing for all these four years,” Emilio said.
