Hirani was also recently named President of the 2025-26 officer team for FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and was Vice President of Community Service for the 2024-25 school year. In addition to FBLA, she is also the President and founder of the first Red Cross Club here at Redwood.
Science Olympiad is another club here at Redwood in which she has a role as one of the directors of lab/written events. She is also the community outreach officer for the Future Healthcare Professionals Club.
Hirani says, “I think it’s important to be involved in school, especially outside of just academics because it gives you a sense of environment and community, even just being a part of extracurriculars gives you an opportunity to learn more about what you’re interested in and it helps build connections that can help you in the future and connections that can change your life no matter if you have activities in or outside of school.”
On April 3rd, 2025, Redwoods Red Cross Club was recognized at the Central Valley Region volunteer dinner, where they won the overall youth and young adult award. They received awards from the U.S Senate, the city and county of Fresno and Clovis, and California legislators.
Outside of school, Hirani is also a part of many service activities and the central section FBLA team as the treasurer.

Hirani says, “I do work for iCivic, which is an organization that focuses on providing resources to less fortunate communities. I also volunteer at Visalia Rescue Mission, which is a local shelter, and I work in their soup kitchen.”
Having all of these activities both in and outside of school is a hard thing to manage, and it’s important to have a balance so you don’t get overwhelmed by all of these tasks.
Hirani also says, “I think that organization is kind of hard for me, but I’ve learned that definitely having a schedule and a to-do list helps a lot because it manages your school work, extracurricular, and responsibilities for both.”
Using tools that are right for you and your needs can help in making sure you stay on task and don’t become sidetracked by other things.
Hirani says, “I use Google Calendar to track all of my different events coming up, and I use an app called ClickUp up which is a to-do list, so that I know what responsibilities I have to do and at what time they need to be done.”
“Building connections is just very important, and community service is a great way to do that,” said Hirani.
