Nick Miller has been at the helm of the Redwood Gigantea since 2009, guiding the newspaper through over a decade of stories, triumphs, and evolution. With a foundation in journalism, Nick's commitment goes beyond just the written word; he is also an ardent photographer, capturing life's moments with precision and artistry. Students not only benefit from his advisorship in the Gigantea's newsroom but also in the classroom where he teaches photography and literature at Redwood High School. Nick's passion for these subjects is evident in his dedication to nurturing young talent, ensuring that they grasp the nuances of ethical journalism, the art of photography, and the depth of literature. Outside of school, he can often be found with a camera in hand, immortalizing Redwood's greatest moments. His vast experience, combined with his dedication to the craft and the students, positions the Redwood Gigantea as a leading example of student journalism.

Brienna and Donya, our Editors in Chief, believe in strong teamwork. They think that by having our Section Editors and Copy Editors work more closely, we can deliver news faster and make it engaging.
