2017 Fall Trends

The fall season is here, and with it it comes several trends. Some trends are old, and some are new, but they are definitely a nice refreshment after the hot, dry Visalia heat of the summer. So, it’s time to break out the sweaters and pumpkin spice everything.

Gabby Bridges, ‘20, said, “My favorite movies to watch in the fall are ‘Halloweentown’ and ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.’ Some of my favorite fall foods are pumpkin pies and candy corn and one of my favorite trends of fall is the Pumpkin Spice lattes at Starbucks.”

Halloween is around the corner, so that means it’s time to watch spooky movies or classic Disney Channel Halloween movies. It’s also time for pumpkin spice lattes, candles, etc.

Alex Roberts, ‘20, said, “A popular fall trend right now would be going to the local corn maze or pumpkin patch.” Since it’s already the middle of October people are visiting the pumpkin patches and corn mazes more and more in order to get the full fall experience. Roberts also said, “My favorite fall outfit would be a giant sweater, leggings, and Uggs. A popular trend right now would be wearing fuzzy Halloween- themed socks.”

Catileyn Harven, ’21, said she is so happy and exited that it is Fall. The fall trends that she loves are watching a bunch of scary movies with her friends. Harven also said, “I like wearing a lot of sweaters.” She is also fond of pumpkin; Harven loves pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, and the smell of pumpkins.

In fall it is all about watching scary movies, wearing cute fall clothes, and sweater weather.

Alex Salazar, ‘20, said, “One of my favorite parts of fall is how everything is pumpkin spice.”

Sabrina Del Real, ’21, is a huge fan of the season Fall. Del Real really loves the fall wardrobe which is wearing cardigans, leggings, and really cute boots. Del Real also added, “I’m not really a big fan of scary movies, but I love to watch fall romances.” She also enjoys the pumpkin spice lattes; especially when is it really cold.

Danelia Noricumbo, ’20, said she is so excited because Noricumbo gets to wear her leggings that shes in love with. She also added, “I love to wear my sweaters with some cute leggings.” Noricumbo is very fond of watching scary movies with her family.

A lot of new and old trends are influencing the fashion, food, and activities of the fall season.
