Freshmen Football First Scrimmage

The freshmen football team racked up the score of 30-0 in a scrimmage on August 17, 2017 at Redwood High School against Mission Oak.

Mr.Sozinho, the athletic director, says “Scrimmages give a chance for the team to play against someone other than themselves. It helps out a lot when they’re actually playing in a game”.

William Hernandez , a freshmen football player, says “Our practices help prepare us for our upcoming games but scrimmages are an extra huge help”.

Mr. Orosco, freshmen football coach, says, “This year we have some strong and fast kids on our team even though this is their first year playing at a high school level. They are very good and focused players. We are definitely going to have a good year this year.”

This year’s football team is off to a great start. Make sure to go and support our freshmen Rangers in their upcoming games!
