Last Saturday, the Redwood Track & Field team went to the Rafer Johnson Invitational in Kingsburg and competed against over 20 other schools. The team has a Wyl meet on Wednesday at Golden West.
Oscar Romero, ‘17, said “I’m really proud of my performance at last Saturday’s meet, I got a PR. ” He also adds that the meet was fun, but really hot.
Brando Andrade, ‘20, said “In the next meet I will work on keeping a straight head and just having fun with it.” He also hopes to perform well and PR.
Tayler Frings, ‘20, says “I have competed in two meets and I am now setting goals for myself to complete during the next track meets.” She also adds that Redwood is one of the better teams by a majority so we have nothing to stress over.
Kylee Dismuke, ‘19, says that McFarland and El Diamante were two particular challenges. “This Wednesday’s meet is just a duel meet so I’m probably going to use it as more of a workout and save energy for the Invitational on Friday.”
The team has a meet at four o’clock on Wednesday, March 21st at Golden West. Come out and support your Ranger Track & Field!
