On Wednesday, February 8th Interact Club met to discuss future events.
Mrs. Feehan, RHS English Teacher and Interact Club Adviser, said that, “The Interact Club is a community service based club that seeks to get involved and help others whenever/wherever possible.”
When asked why she is advising this club Feehan said, “I was interested in helping advise this club because I enjoy working with students on a different level outside of the classroom. I was also a member of Interact Club when I was in high school, so I thought it would be nice to continue being involved with it.”
While discussing about the activities Interact is focusing on right now Feehan said, “We had a meeting this week to discuss some upcoming events. I know our president and other officers have planned some activities for Love week (happening next week).”
Interact is also planning Dr. Seuss Day in which the members will go to the local feeder elementary schools to read with kids.
In the end Feehan enlightened everyone on the benefits of why everyone should come and join this fun club, “Some of the benefits of joining Interact Club include: participating in community service, interacting with other students, and being apart of a fun environment that allows for helping others as well.”
