Last night the Redwood Women’s Soccer team won WYL for the 6th year in a row. They came out with a win against Golden West 3-0.
Brooke Crisp ‘17 came out with a hat trick last night, adding 3 goals to the 34 goals she has scored so far this season.
Crisp stated how she feels to win WYL for the sixth time in a row. “I feel like it’s really cool because I have won WYL all throughout my entire high school years, so I feel like it sets the bar,” she said.
She also states how her team and her copes with all the school rivalries on social media.
“I feel like we embrace it because it is kind of fun, because no matter what they say we are the winners at the end of the day,” she said.
Coach Vieira said, “It wasn’t easy, there was some real tough games but they never gave up and they were all really focus. This is a really great team.”
